How do I go about purchasing Terry May products?

2. You may order bouquets and arrangements up to 1 month in advance of your delivery (or pick-up) date through our website.  Visit TerryMayNY.com for internet-only products and prices.  For same-day or next-day orders, please call us at the shop.

When I attempted to order online, it says that some of your products are “Out of stock”   

Unfortunately, we can only provide up to a certain number of products on a day-to-day basis.  Please make your orders as early as possible. 

In addition to placing limitations on our online sales, we also maintain a set quantity of floral arrangements at our store.  If products become unavailable online, please call the store to inquire about our products there.  That way, we can save you a trip to the shop and we can manage to put a gorgeous flower arrangement on hold for you before closing hours.  We thank you for understanding. 

Since there is a great demand for our flowers on Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, online orders tend to sell out quickly.  Please order early to get the most coveted arrangements!

Some of the products at your shop don’t seem to be available online.

Since we generally provide the most popular arrangements online, Special Items allows for different options based on delivery dates and specialty products.  In general, terrariums and unique Terry May arrangements are only available at our shop.

Can I purchase flowers at the shop on the weekend?

Terry May maintains the same operating hours as the Citigroup Building Atrium, and therefore makes up the time by staying open longer on weekdays.  

Saturdays are open by appointment, and we accept telephone orders and make deliveries to every extent possible.  For the most part, we will be closed on Sundays and therefore will not be taking calls or making deliveries.  If there are any special orders for parties that necessitate a Sunday delivery, please call us and let us know. 

I would like to order an arrangement from the StageDoors Series.

For unique Terry May arrangements, we would like to request a meeting with you. We’ll ask you the type of flowers, colors, and design you would like, and we will create it from there.  Please make an appointment to meet with one of our flower designers.   

Questions regarding the Point Card for the Terry May Flower Club

Once you become a member of the Terry May Flower Club at our shop on 53rd Street, we will issue you a membership card that also serves as a bonus point card.  The membership card is available for a $5 fee, but can be issued to you for free with purchases over $35.  The membership card has no expiration date. 

For those of you who prefer to order through our website, a purchase of $50 or more will entitle you to a Terry May Flower Club membership at no cost.  Instead of an actual card, we will issue you a membership number and your points will accrue in your membership account.  The points you accumulate may be exchanged for merchandise and special discounts.  If you do have the occasion to visit our shop, please tell us your membership number, and we will be happy to issue you a card, since points can be accrued through purchases at both the shop and website.  When you come to our store, we will update the points you have accrued through your online purchases. 

For the bonus point card, you will receive 1 point for every dollar spent, and once you accumulate over 200 points, you may begin to exchange your points for merchandise.  10 points have an exchange value of $1. 

We will be announcing special gifts and discount privileges from time to time that we are certain you will enjoy. 

How do I use it?
Just present your PointCard at the time of every purchase. If you applied for the Point Card via fax or mail or have applied for the point card in the store and could not wait for its issuance, we will request you to pick up your bonus point card the next time you visit the store, as it is not our policy to mail out Point Cards. 
In addition to the accrual of 10% of every purchase, we will inform all members of special sales and merchandise promotions that may be purchased with the accumulated points on your Point Card. All customer information is securely managed and held in the strictest confidence.  

I lost my Point Card.
The reissue of a Point Card is $5.  Please be careful not to lose the card; at the time of reissue, all records of your accumulated points will be deemed invalid. 

Am I the only person that can use the Point Card?
Yes, only the person who has signed the back of the card may use the Point Card, and the signature must match a credit card signature. 

Can online orders be transferred to my Point Card?
Yes, online purchases may be added to your Point Card.  You may also access your current point balance by inputting your member number and password.  For clients who have limited their purchases to the Internet, we will not issue a Point Card, as it is our policy not to mail out Point Cards.  For those of you who already have a Point Card and make a purchase online, please inform one of our staff members to add those points to your card the next time you come to our store.

If I forget to bring my Point Card, does that mean my purchase doesn’t get recorded?
If you forget to bring your point card, stop by the store with your receipt and Point Card, and we will update your balance.  

Is it possible to add points to my card for the purchases I made before obtaining the card?
If you still have your receipts, we will be able to add the points to your card.  However, we will not add more than $200 worth of purchases, or 20 points at maximum.  In order to be properly rewarded for your purchases, we suggest you become a member as early as possible.

Will wrapping charges be added to my Point Card?
Yes, all wrapping charges, as well as all purchases will be added to your Point Card.  Taxes, however, will not be included.

Can I purchase products with the Terry May logo?

Yes!  Mugs, t-shirts and several other products with the Terry May logo may be purchased at our shop.  Those who have accrued points on the Point Card, however, will have access to additional Terry May products.

Can you arrange flowers in my home?

Absolutely.  We provide grand large-scale arrangements that you might see in hotels or restaurants right in your home.  We provide both weekly services and one time, event-based services where we would bring a variety of flowers and plants to arrange in your home.  Please call us to talk about this in detail. 

Can you deliver flowers to a restaurant or hotel where I am hosting a party?

We would be delighted to provide flowers for your next party.  However, as some hotels and restaurants have an exclusive relationship with their vendors or have a limitation on the amount of flowers that can be brought into the space, we would appreciate it if you could contact your venue about any restrictions they may have before placing orders with us. 

Deliveries

Our flower arrangements can only be hand-delivered since they are very sensitive.  As a result, we are limiting our deliveries to Manhattan at this time.  However, if you are coming into Manhattan and would like to pick up your order at our shop, we would be delighted to accommodate you. We promise to do our best to expand our delivery area in the near future.

Deliveries within Manhattan will be an additional $10.00.  All orders will be charged 8.375% state sales tax.
Payment

We accept cash, money orders and credit cards (VISA, Master, American Express, DISCOVER and Diners Club).  We require a minimum purchase of $20.

Ordering and Cancellation Policy

When ordering products for later pick-ups at the shop, we will take down your credit card information.  We do not accept cancellations on fresh flower arrangements on the date of the pick-up or delivery.  In the event the ordered item is not picked up, we will keep the fresh arrangement in our custody for safekeeping until the next day.   If it is necessary to cancel an order, please contact us to cancel the order as soon as possible.  If you cancel the order less than 3 days prior to the delivery or pick up date, you will be charged half the price of your order.  If you cancel the order on the date of pick up or date of delivery or fail to pick up your arrangement, you will be charged for the full price of your order.

For items that were specifically ordered at your request, it is very likely that we will request a cancellation fee even if the order is cancelled 3 days prior to delivery.  We will inform you of this possibility at the time of your order. 
Flower Wrapping Service

For custom-made bouquets, we add a $5 wrapping charge to the cost of the specialty bouquet, as we use a unique variety of wrapping papers and imported ribbons that require an additional fee. While all bouquet cards are free, we also provide a variety of cards for sale.
